You’ll start your tour in Argentina’s never-sleeping capital city of Buenos Aires before heading right down into Patagonia to Ushuaia on the island of Tierra del Fuego which is located just at the End of the World. From there you’ll fly to El Calafate, the door to the stunning landscapes of the Patagonian Glacier National Park before heading north to the amazing Iguazú Falls on the borders of Brazil and Paraguay. You’ll continue your Argentina odyssey exploring the colorful landscapes and native cultures around Salta and Jujuy in Argentina’s northern desert region. Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in ArgentinaBuenos AiresArrival at the International Airport of Argentina, we will be waiting for you there to take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free, you can rest and enjoy the hotel services or explore the city on your own. We recommend you to visit Recoleta Cemetery, a beautiful historical site surrounded by parks and cafes, on weekends there is a craft fair!
Day 2: Exploring the "Paris of South America"Buenos AiresAfter breakfast, we will go to explore Buenos Aires on foot or we can also do it by bike. We'll get to know the most important buildings and neighborhoods in the capital. We will visit the obelisk, La Boca, San Telmo, Recoleta and Palermo. In the evening, we're going to one of the more traditional tango shows. Dinner and wine are included.
Day 3: Flight to the End of the WorldBuenos Aires to UshuaiaBreakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Ushuaia (not included), in the southern tip of Patagonia. Ushuaia is known as the city of the end of the world. It is located on the shores of the Beagle Channel and is an island surrounded by mountains and a wonderful flora and fauna. The rest of the day is free to get to know the city on your own. Be sure to visit the museums!
Day 4: The Land of Fire
Around UshuaiaAfter breakfast, we propose to discover the nature that lives in Tierra del Fuego National Park. With our specialized guides you will know in detail all the secrets of this paradise of mountains, lakes and fresh water rivers. This day we will walk through the forest and then we will do canoes to the Lapataia bay.
Day 5: Lakes Off-RoadAround UshuaiaThe Lakes off-Road tour is a fun, intense and enjoyable way to discover the secrets behind the Andes. Far from being a conventional excursion, you will be able to enjoy and have fun on roads where it is only possible to enter our all-terrain trucks. We will enjoy the beauty of Escondido Lake and Fagnano.
Day 6: Flight to the glaciersUshuaia to El CalafateBreakfast. Transfer from the Hotel to the airport to take your flight to El Calafate (not included) After your arrival, transfer to your hotel. Free day to tour the village on your own.
El Calafate is a town near Lake Argentino, one of the largest and most impressive in Patagonia, Argentina.
Day 7: The Perito Moreno GlacierEl CalafateOne of the most interesting activities is to do the trekking (minitrekking) on the Perito Moreno Glacier. The bus takes us to the port, after a short navigation we get together to put on our crampons and start walking on top of the glacier. This activity is so magnificent because it allows us to come into contact with the glacier, its peaks, caves and small interior lagoons of an intense blue color.

Day 8: Patagonia at your fingertipsAround El CalafateBreakfast. Free day to explore the beautiful scenery around the Los Glaciares National Park. There are several optional excursions you can take on this day. Like sailing on Lake Argentina, with its huge icebergs. Another option is to visit a Patagonian estancia where you can appreciate the environment, learn about the history of Patagonia, go horseback riding and even watch the shearing of sheep.
Day 9: North to IguazuEl Calafate to Iguazu FallsAfter breakfast at your hotel in El Calafate we will pick you up and take you to the airport to take your flight to Puerto Iguazu (not included). Puerto Iguazú is a small town near the spectacular Iguazú Falls. At the airport we will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Iguazu. The rest of the day is free.
Day 10: Exploring the fallsIguazu FallsBreakfast. This day we will take you to visit the Iguazu National Park (Arg) where you will marvel at the waterfalls, rivers and jungle. The park has several trails that will take you through the jungle on footbridges built a few meters above the ground. These elevated walkways protect the natural habitat of wildlife and allow for spectacular views.
Day 11: Salta La LindaIguazu to SaltaAfter breakfast we will pick you up to take you to the airport, where you will take your flight to Salta (not included). In Salta we will be waiting to take you to your hotel. The city of Salta known as "La Linda" due to its well-preserved colonial architecture and the surrounding landscape. This day in the afternoon we will make a visit to the city, knowing the most important sites and churches.
Day 12: The Road to the Clouds
Salta to Purmamarca
This day we will take you on a 2-day tour, visiting the highlights of the northwest. First we will go by the path of the clouds, through the gorge of the bull to San Antonio de los Cobres, at the top of the puna. Then we will continue through the large salt flats and descend the Lipan slope to reach Purmamarca where we will spend the night.
Day 13: Exploring Northern Argentina
Purmamarca to Salta
Breakfast. We will continue the journey through the Quebrada de Humahuaca, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, passing through several villages with their adobe houses and churches. At noon we will arrive at Humahuaca, a typical Andean colonial town, with narrow streets and adobe buildings. In this tour you will know the famous Cerro de los Siete Colores. Return to Salta
Day 14: Cafayate daytripSalta and CafayateAfter breakfast we will look for you to start the full day visit to Cafayate. As we leave the city, heading south, we will pass through large tobacco plantations, then through a beautiful ravine with rocky formations resulting from water and wind erosion. In Cafayate we will visit a winery, where we will have a small tasting. Then we will have free time to have lunch and visit the village. I'm going back to Salta in the afternoon.
Day 15: Back to capital city
Salta to Buenos Aires
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires (not included) Upon your arrival at Aeroparque we will be waiting to take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free, take advantage of it to do some shopping and take some souvenirs or just to go for a walk.
Day 16: Leaving Argentina
Buenos Aires
After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel to take your flight home.
