Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival to Buenos AiresAccording to your flight itinerary, a driver will be waiting for you at the landing area with a sign in your name, to transfer you quickly and safely to your hotel in downtown Buenos Aires. Check-in and rest of the day is free for you to relax and unwind.Day 2 - Walking Tour and Tango ShowThe day begins with a walk through the city. Around 10 am we leave to get to know the most beautiful and interesting places. The tour is made walking and traveling by vehicle, to visit thoroughly the central district, San Telmo, La Boca and Recoleta where our tour ends. This tour is ideal for taking pictures and visiting areas outside the massive tourist circuit. The tour ends around 4:30 pm.In the evening, between 8pm and 8.30pm we will pick you up at your hotels to enjoy a beautiful dinner accompanied by an unforgettable Tango show. The event will take place in El QuerandĆ, one of the most popular tanguerias in San Telmo neighborhood. You will be welcomed with a three-step gourmet dinner with a wide selection of typical dishes and regional wines. Afterwards, you will be able to witness an incredible show, which reviews the History of Tango with different dancing couples and singers. At the end, around midnight, you will be returned to your hotelDay 3 - Sailing to the TigreThe tour starts at the boat terminal in the luxurious neighborhood of Puerto Madero, where you should meet your guide at 9:45 am. From there, you will sail across the Rio de la Plata and the Delta, to enjoy the best views of the city. Once in Tigre, you will go on a touristic bus ride to see the main attractions. Finally, we will return to Buenos Aires by train to Retiro station, where the tour ends.Day 4 - Free DayThis day will be free for you to decide which activity you want to do or if you simply want to use your time to rest in your hotel.Day 5 - Arrival to LimaAccording to your flight itinerary, a driver will pick you up at your hotel to take you to Ezeiza airport to board your flight. Once you arrive in Lima, your driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.Day 6 - Panoramic City TourWe will pick you up from the hotel between 8:15 am and 9:15 am, and we will start the panoramic tour of the city of Lima in the Love Park, which is located in the tourist district of Miraflores, where you will have beautiful views of the sea. We will continue the tour with the panoramic visit to the Huaca Pucllana, archaeological center that is in the middle of the city, and belongs to the pre-Inca culture of Lima. Then, we will pass by El Olivar Park, in the financial district of San Isidro, full of olive trees and beautiful houses from the colonial era.We will arrive to the Historic Center of Lima, passing by San Martin Square until we reach the Main Square, the scene of beautiful buildings such as the Government Palace and the Cathedral. We will continue our tour on foot, to the impressive Santo Domingo Convent, where the relics of the most representative saints of the city are kept. At the end, you will be transferred back to your hotel at 2 pm.Day 7 - Arrival in CuscoOur driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the airport in Lima. Once you arrive in Cusco, your transport will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Check in and rest of the day free.Day 8 - Visit to the City and surrounding ruinsWeāll pick you up from the hotel, and start the tour visiting the Temple of Coricancha, aslo known as Golden Temple, for its gold richness that this place housed. This symbolic place has a clear example of the fusion between Incan and Hispanic cultures, and during the Spanish conquer, the templeās base was used to build the Church of Santo Domingo and its famous convent.
Then, weāre going to visit the Cathedral of Cusco (temporarily closed) located in the Main Square, to appreciate a beautiful religious paintings of the Cusco School. Also, it was declared as a World Cultural Heritage, as well as a Historic Monument of Peru.
The tour continues to the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman, an amazing place with huge carved stones which fit each other in a perfect way, and it is said that it was built by more than 20 thousand men, and took over 70 years to finish it. Located 2 Km. away from the city of Cusco, this Incan Fortress has amazing landscapes, and it houses llamas and hawks.
Later, we will visit the religious temple of Qenqo, place where the Incas worshiped their Gods like the Sun, the Moon and the Earth. You will have an incredible experience exploring through its underground passageways, and admire a semicircular amphitheater.
We will continue this entertaining excursion in the military compound of Puca Pucara, which means āRed Fortressā for its reddish infrastructure. Then we will go the waterās worship center of Tambomachay, with aqueducts and waterfalls provided from nearby springs. Definitely, the Inca civilization had an advanced and surprising construction engineering.
At the end, we will back to the hotel in Cusco city. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.
Day 9 - Machu Picchu by Train Vistadome
Transfer to the train station. Departure of Vistadome train to the town of Aguas Calientes. During the train journey, we will appreciate the hanging bridge that starts the Inca Trail. The track follows the course of the Urubamba or Vilcanota river descending more and more and entering a canyon until arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes, located at the foot of the mountain of Machu Picchu. We will board our mini-buses to ascend to the vestiges of the Sacred Citadel of the Incas "Machu Picchu". We will visit its terraces, passages, temples, the sundial or "Intihuatana", and other sacred places that this citadel guards. In the afternoon, we will descend to the village to take the return train. Arrival at the station and return to the hotel.Day 10 - Market of Pisac, Ollantaytambo Fortress and ChincheroWe will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 7:30 am, to start the tour on a 30 km road until we reach the town of Pisac, a place that has a fantastic market and an archaeological center with temples and stone buildings, having a wonderful view of the valley, as well as views of the terraces. Then, we will continue our journey to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, and then we will arrive to the town of Ollantaytambo. We will visit its temple, which was the headquarters of the Inca army, as well as a religious and agricultural center. It has impressive views of the valley, and more than a hundred platforms with irrigation canal systems that are very advanced for the time. Finally, we will visit the town of Chinchero and its traditional market, very colorful and with a great variety of handicrafts such as ceramics and typical Andean looms. Then, we will return to your hotel in Cusco at approximately 6:30 pm.Day 11 - Bye Bye CuscoAccording to the option chosen, you will be transferred to the bus station or the airport, to continue your trip or to return home.
