The Isle of Man: A Great Hidden Gem - 4 Nights
There are many different perceptions of the Isle Of Man, and when people ask what they think it is known for, the answers will often vary. Some may know it as a tax haven, others for being so quick to re-open post pandemic, whilst others may be aware of its rich Celtic and Viking history. However until you get here, you won't realise just what an extraordinary and fascinating place it is. From the first hunter gatherers that reached the island 8000 years ago, there have been a wide array of cultures, monarchs and owners which make up the incredible history of the island. Nowadays, it is not just a very proud 85,000 Manx population that make up the island, but there is a vast array of wildlife that frequent the land and surrounding seas. Basking sharks, whales and seals all make an appearance throughout the year along with the numerous sea birds, wallabies and many other creatures that reside here. To add to that, you have truly sumptuous food that is all locally sourced (Queenies and Manx kipper are the local specialities) and scenery that will take your breath away. Not bad for an island that is just 33 miles long and 13 miles wide at its broadest point!
